'Merry Christmas' is entirely appropriate in our country of Canada
In response to the greeting 'Merry Christmas'.
The fact ofÊthe matter is Canada is a Christian country and Christmas is a holy day celebratingÊChrist's birth.
The holidays of Family Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, and Remembrance Day are not celebrated by a greeting of Merry Whatever, and as Merry Christmas has been a traditional greeting in this — our — country and most Christian countries of the world since forever.
Then maybe those persons who are opposed to the greeting of Merry Christmas should take their beliefs somewhere else post haste.Ê
Merry ChristmasÊand a happy and prosperous New Year to all.
